Biography :
Prof M R Riazi, holds a degree and a doctorate in chemical engineering from Penn State University. His main areas of expertise include energy and environment especially oil and gas production and processing, simulation and treatment of oil spills as well as biofuels production technologies. Prof. Riazi currently serves as a professor and chair of Chemical Engineering Department at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. He is a Fellow of AIChE, licensed professional engineer, chaired many international conferences, lectured in more than 45 countries and has more than 150+ publications including 9 books and a solutions manual.
