Biography :
Prof. Lucian Dascalescu ia a graduate of the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania, Lucian Dascalescu earned advanced doctoral degrees in Bucharest and Grenoble, France. Since 1997, he has served as Professor and Head of “Applied Electrostatics” Research Unit at the University of Poitiers, France. As Emeritus Professor with PPRIME Institute of CNRS, he continues to lead major research activities in electrostatic processes and particle separation technologies for industrial and environmental applications. Prof. Dascalescu is a Life Fellow of the Institute of Electric and Electronic Engineers, author of more than 290 scientific papers, holder of several patents, and supervisor of more than 40 PhD theses.
