Biography :
Dr. Ming Zhao is an Associate Professor and the director of the LBC (Laboratory for Bio-resource & Carbon-mitigation Technologies) at Tsinghua University, China. He obtained his PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Sydney in 2010. The research interests of the LBC Group include thermo-chemical conversion of biomass (waste) into clean energy and value-added chemicals, advanced materials and processes for CO2 capture/utilization, and sustainable technologies & management for solid waste. The LBC has been funded by a variety of national grants and maintains close collaborations with globally renowned research groups. Since its inception in 2015, LBC Group has published 130+ peer-reviewed articles.
