Biography :
Dr. Kang Gao is an assistant researcher at the Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences. He earned a PhD in Garden Plants and Ornamental Horticulture from Beijing Forestry University in 2021. Focusing on chrysanthemum population genetics and germplasm innovation of traditional Chinese and green chrysanthemums via polymeric hybridization, he has 43 papers (11 as first/corresponding author) in top agri-forestry journals. He led 3 provincial projects, holds 19 new plant variety rights, won an International Chrysanthemum Competition gold medal, and has other academic honors.
