Biography :
Eng. Ahmed Saeed Al-Ghamdi is the Director of Renewable Energy at WTIIRA with over 17 years of experience in the water and energy sector. He holds a BEng in Chemical Engineering and an MSc in Water Desalination Science from King Saud University (KSA). He has worked on numerous projects involving water desalination and solar energy integration, focusing on both computational and experimental methods for solar-powered desalination systems and techno-economic optimization. In addition to his work in renewable and desalination technologies, Eng. Ahmed has also contributed to several artificial intelligence (AI) projects in the water sector, developing smart monitoring, predictive maintenance, and process optimization systems for desalination and water treatment plants. He has participated in publishing multiple research papers related to water and solar desalination and continues to lead initiatives aimed at advancing sustainable and data-driven solutions in water and energy management.
